My Portfolio

I'm just someone who likes making memories and capture them into photos. I am not a pro, but when the mood strikes, I can't resist the urge to take up photos. Nice objects, alluring scenery and many nice views only come up once, so it would be a waste to let it get away without any trace. Hopefully, photos are what prove that those will be remembered forever.

My Book Review on "P.S. I Still Love You"

A twisted, romantic first love story plot of Laura Jean is finally come to an end. After going through hard-break and ill-fated truth nature of love, Laura Jean is officially know what love really is and who deserves her heart. It seems true love means a love that is never faltered despite how many pieces your heart is crumbled into,or how many new gentle boys come to you, you still stick to the hurtful love. Congratulation, Laura Jean, upon finding your soul mate!!!

To me, i really pity John. After all the good things he helps Laura while she is devastated with Peter, all he receives back is a friend zone. But still, isn't it better to see the one you love find the truth happiness of her own? :)

Thanks,Jenny Han, for this beautiful duo logy!I rate it five stars!!!!

My book review on "The Heir"

The Heir- Book Four of The Selection Series

This story talks about another selection which is held inside the palace, yet it is a reverse selection. 35 men fighting for the position of Prince consort in which whoever is the winner can stay and rule side by side with the future queen, Eadlyn. Who the suitor is still remains a mystery.

I find this 4th book a little bit boring than the previous books in the Selection series. First, the main plot is somehow similar. Second, there aren't many climax as well complication to absorb the readers' interest. Nevertheless, it is still worth giving time reading it.

Boat Noodle

8 boat noodles

Eager for some snack after getting exhausted from sight-seeing? Here in Cambodia, I welcome you to "8 Boat Noodles shop." Taking after its name, there are only noodles there, but there are no boats. With this logo, you may find several branches of it all across Phnom Penh, or perhaps a few at some provinces too.

All you have to do is walking in and order a set of noodle with your own flavour. It will come in 8 small bowls per set.

Don't be afraid of wasting the food because I don't think you will get enough just one set. :D

And in the end, your table will ended up with stack up bowls till others cannot even see your face anymore.

Our impression: "It is good trying to be a big eater once in awhile.". We really enjoy it. Hope you will too.

I somehow finished this book yesterday night- I stayed up till midnight to finish it.

Summary: A seventeenth years old girl along with her nuclear family- her parents and her eighth years old little brother- were on the drive to visit her grandparents' house, only to hold back by a serious car accident which still remained unknown about the cause. Her parents died on accident while his brother died in the emergency room once he arrived at the local hospital. Mia- this lone survivor- was in a comatose for four days. The strangest thing was that only her body was in coma. Her spirit, on the other hand, was wondering around and seeing thing all around her. She even saw her own injured body, saw her grandparents wept, saw her bestfriend and boyfriend try to break into the ICU to see her. She would have yelled to tell them not to worry so much had she been visible. She also knew about the death of her family members. What should she do? Should she be the lone survivor or should she follow her parents?

Personal Perspective: This is one such great book if you're looking for encouragement. The girl really thrived for life even if it meant for her to be an orphan. What should be the meaning of this? Struggling! Yes! After reading this, I know that life is so short and tormenting, yet life is competitive. You can't just forfeit ! You have to win the competition! Don't give up! Thank you, Gayle Forman, for the inspiration.
However, there are a few negative points for this book. I find it lack of emotion and cohesion. Sometimes, I got lost of track while reading. I was confused which scene was the real one, and which was the flashback image. Also, it was a bit too long in description that I had to skip some sentences, or even half a page!
