Bloodlines Series by Richelle Mead

If you are a fan of Vampire Academy Series, I bet you will become a fan of this series too. Perhaps, you may fancy this series more than VA. Based on my personal perspectives, I really enjoy reading Bloodlines.
I read it day and night without getting weary. As the ending was approaching, i felt myself crying. It was one of the happy ending series, but I cried because it was too hard to say goodbye to the series as good as this.

Bloodlines: The first book of the Bloodlines series.
Told from Sidney's perspective, I have a feeling that this series is slightly more interesting than the Vampire Academy series. Of course, it may be because I am Andrian's fan so that i get to see more of him in this series which drives me to like it. It may be partially true, but most of it, because Sydney is seems to be more mature than Rose. Also, she is not that self-pride and self-centered which makes her seems to be a true hero. Not that Rose doesn't deserve to be a hero; it is just I find Sydney Hero-like character more preferable.

So, Sydney was assigned to protect Jill- Lissa's illegitimate sister- from Moroi opposition party. Since Jill died once from the unexpected attack at the court and Andrian healed her, they were bonded, Eddie and Andrian were also involved in this operation. They were to blend in human society and disguise their true identity so that Jill could be safe from harm. The problem is, danger still trailed them into the human world; and those dangers were non others than from their own kinds. Enemy within enemy.

The Golden Lily: The sequel to the Bloodlines book
Not bad though. Trying to fight the forbidden love between a Vampire and an Alchemist. Trying to use another love to replace the feeling you have may seem to be a common solution but also a common failure. In the end, things still go the way it has wanted to go.

The Indigo Spell: The third book of the Bloodlines book
Rebellion? Yes. Acknowledging the things that u don want to acknowledge? Yes. Reciprocated love? YES
Oh My God! This is the best amongst the previous 2 books! The plot gets twisted and the characters turns from being a victim into a hero! Two people from prejudiced race teams up to fight the villain! and not to mention the chemistry between Sydney and Andrain is getting stronger and stronger!!!!!! * blushing* I can't get enough of this series!

Five stars rated is not enough!

The Fiery Heart: The fourth book of the Bloodlines book
Ignoring the taboo by loving someone you shouldn't even be close with is difficult enough. Despite the difficulties, their love manages to reach the peak. Now that their hearts and bodies have become one, it is not an easy pain to bear when they are torn apart. So, so painful. F the taboo :'(

The Silver Shadows: The fifth book of the Bloodlines book
When two people are in love, all they care about are each other. Even though the whole world are against them, they still embrace each other and pay no care to the world. However, even if they pay no attention to the world, it doesn't mean that the world pays no attention to them.

The Ruby Circle: The final book of the Bloodlines book
A happy ending for everyone. The circle of torture is gone; subsequently, the circle of happiness begins.
